Seldom do schools get an opportunity to host the Prime Minister and I am delighted to say that the school made a lasting impression on our guest. Other notables to grace our school last Friday were; Mr Bidgood the Federal Minister, the Mackay Mayor Mr Col Meng, our local member Mr Mulherin and the Regional Executive Director (schools) , Mr Wayne Butler. It truly was a red letter day in the proud history of Mackay Central State School.
